2) Castlevania Aria of Sorrow is called as Castlevania Akatsuki no Minuet in Japanese version. The word akatsuki literally means "dawn." Thus, some fans usually called the game as Castlevania Minuet of Dawn.
3) Castlevania Dawn of Sorrow is a direct sequel of Castlevania Aria of Sorrow. If you noticed, the former retained the word "sorrow" in its title perhaps to highlight a uniformity. Nevertheless, the word "dawn" should actually be used in the latter, since it is best translated as Castlevania Minuet of Dawn from its original Japanese title. Surprisingly, this was changed to "aria" in the North American and European versions although its a little bit farfetched.
4) Alucard is actually Genya Arikado's true identity. He is the son of Dracula who fought alongside Trevor Belmont, Sypha Belnades and Grant DaNasty in the classic Castlevania III Dracula's Curse. He is also the main protagonist in Castlvania Symphony of the Night and a recurring character from several games.
5) The name Alucard is translated as "Arukado" in Japanese version, which sounds slightly different from Arikado.
6) Alucard originally appeared with a black hair in Castlevania III Dracula's Curse just like when he disguised himself as Genya Arikado. Nevertheless, he actually have a white hair in his true form as depicted in Castlevania Symphony of the Night and various titles.
7) The character arts of Castlevania Aria of Sorrow was made by the fan favorite artist, Ayami Kojima. She is also the one behind the character designs of most Castlevania games from the original series.
8) Have you noticed that there are big differences in the character arts of Castlevania Aria of Sorrow and Castlevania Dawn of Sorrow although they feature the same characters? The former retained the classic Gothic-themed designs while the latter is more of an anime style. Nevertheless, it didn't work as originally intended but turned out to be a big advertising failure instead.
9) Defeating Graham Jones will not unlock the real ending of Castlevania Aria of Sorrow. One must delve deeper in the game until the final boss, Chaos, is defeated.
10) There are only three enemies in the game that will not drop souls for Soma. These three are all bosses, namely: Julius Belmont, Graham Jones and Chaos.

12) The mobile phone version of Castlevania Aria of Sorrow has stripped away a considerable large number of weapons available from the original version.
13) Did you know that there are big changes in the mobile phone version of Castlevania Aria of Sorrow when compared to it's Game Boy Advance (GBA) counterpart? To preserve space, they removed a lot of essential game features. Thus, the game has only few available soundtracks, enemies, bosses and even lessened the number of rooms to explore in the map.
