Final Fantasy X-2 Fun Facts

1) Final Fantasy X-2 is the first game in the series that is considered as a direct sequel of its predecessor.

2) The events in Final Fantasy X-2 takes place 2 years after the events in Final Fantasy X.

3) This is the first game in Final Fantasy series to feature women as the main protagonists.

4) Did you know that the accessories Enterprise and Invincible are named after the airships? Both are seen in Final Fantasy III as a replacement for Cid's airship. Aside from that, the Enterprise made a reappearance in Final Fantasy IV, too.

5) The name Leblanc is actually a French word which means "the white". Formally written as Le Blanc in a masculine form, while Le Blanche for its feminine form.

6) Omri, one of Leblanc's closest henchmen, holds the record as 2nd to the most recurring boss fights in Final Fantasy series for having seven battles. Caius Ballad from Final Fantasy XIII-2 currently holds the 1st rank for having nine fights in a single game.

7) The name Logos is probably derived from the Greek word which literally means "thought, word, speech or reason". This perfectly makes sense though, since Logos is depicted as the brain in Leblanc Syndicate.

8) Originally, Logos is called "Sano" in the Japanese version of Final Fantasy X-2. It literally means "left brain", which reflects his personality as the mind behind Leblanc Syndicate.

9) Logos and Omri are the complete opposite of each others personality. Logos is tall, slender and smart. Omri, on the other hand, is slightly short, fat and dim-witted. Aside from that, the former uses guns for offensive assault while the latter uses a shield for defense.

10) Celsius was intentionally named by Brother to make fun with his father's airship, the "Fahrenheit". Both terms are used in science to measure the temperature, but with totally different measuring system.

11) Etymologically, Celsius is coined in science to pay homage to Anders Celsius. He is an 18th century Swedish astronomer, mathematician and physicist who proposed the measuring scale for temperature that bears his name.
