1) Final Fantasy Tactics marks the first game in Final Fantasy series in strategy genre.

2) A decade after its release on 1997, a remake of the game was ported for Playstation Portable (PSP). Some minor changes were added including new playable characters and a multi-player feature.

3) Did you know that the remake of the game has an additional subtitle on its title? It is called Final Fantasy Tactics: The War of the Lions.

4) Cloud Strife from Final Fantasy VII still appears in Final Fantasy Tactics: The War of the Lions as special guest. This time, however, Balthier from Final Fantasy XII and Luso from Final Fantasy Tactics A2: Grimoire of the Rift also joins the party.

5) Final Fantasy Tactics is one of several titles that belongs to a special category known as the "Ivalice Alliance". These games have their stories set in the fictional world of Ivalice.

8) Alphons Draclau is also known as Alphonse Delacroix. The name Delacroix is a French word which means "of the Cross."

9) The last name Draclau is probably a derivative for "dracul". A Romanian word which means "dragon" or "devil". Historically, Dracul is also the name of a Duke of Wallachia, Vlad Dracul II. He is the father of the infamous Count Vlad Tepes Dracula.

10) The job cardinal is a unique job given to leaders of the Church of Glabados. One of whom is Cardinal Alphons Draclau. Oddly though, not a single Action Ability, Reaction Ability nor Support Ability that is attached to it.

11) The term "Knight Templars" is historically an order of knights who fought valiantly in the Crusades. They are also called as "Poor Fellow-Soldiers of Christ and of the Temple of Solomon" and "Order of the Temple". Together with the Knights Hospitallers, they became the most formidable orders of knights who protected the Holy Land of Jerusalem.

12) The Church of Glabados is named after the divine being known as Saint Ajora Glabados.
