2) Jeane and Viki are the only characters in the original Suikoden series who appeared in all titles including the Suikogaidens and Suikoden Tactics.
3) Suikoden V is the first game in the original Suikoden series which artworks are not designed by either Junko Kawano or Ishikawa Fumi.

7) In the instruction manual of Suikoden I, Georg Prime is seen as one of the 6 Great Generals of the Scarlet Moon Empire. He left off wandering before the Toran Liberation War ignited. Thus, during those years there are only 5 Great Generals under emperor Barbarossa Rugner.
8) The events in Suikoden V is about 8 years prior to the events in Suikoden I and 142 years after the events in Suikoden IV.
9) Lorelai is one of the recurring characters from the first two Suikoden titles. Surprisingly, she is seen wielding different weapons from all three games. She was an archer in Suikoden I, a lancer in Suikoden II and a whip user in Suikoden V. Thus, making her a very versatile fighter indeed.
10) Georg Prime is a member of the Ebony Moon Knights of Grasslands. Although, the name of the group was mentioned in Suikoden II, yet there was never a single information revealed in Suikoden III that will shed light to its legacy.
11) Georg Prime's sword is called as Wind, Moon and Cloud according to its weapon growth. It was called as Kaze, Tsuki and Kumo in Suikoden II, which are the respective Japanese translations of the aforementioned names.
12) In one of his letter to the Prince, Georg mentioned that he knew about the Maximillian Knights. They are a group of Knights who detest the growing corruption in the Scarlet Moon Empire, a monarchy to the north where Georg once served as one of its 6 Great Generals.
13) Logg and Lun belong to the Chitan and Chikaku Stars respectively in the Tablet of Promise. All former bearers of these Stars are non-humans, thus, both of them are the first human Stars of Destiny who belong to those slots.
14) The Dad and Daughter Attack is a decent combo of Logg and Lun. A unite in Suikoden II shares the same name with it, which is performed by Tsai and Tomo.
15) It is interesting to note that the Dragon Cavalrymen duo attacks with their dragons are named after the colors of their armor.
16) The Falcon Rune is only given to fighters with exceptional prowess in swordsmanship as a mark of his skill. Did you know that all previous Suikoden titles feature only female characters with such rune? Thus, Belcoot is the first guy who is seen to have a Falcon Rune embedded on his hand.
17) Cathari's Godspeed Rune is a unique rune that enables its bearer to run with incredible speed. It is also called as True Holy Rune in Suikoden II and Suikoden IV. Despite its name, however, it is not one of the 27 True Runes.
18) Surprisingly, there are no monsters around the barren mountain above the Dwarf Camp. If you explore the area while on the world map, expect that there will be no random encounters will take place.
