1) Fire Emblem Shadow Dragon is called Fire Emblem Shin Ankoku Ryuu to Hikari no Tsurugi in Japanese version. It is literally translated as Fire Emblem Shadow Dragon and the Blade of Light.

2) Fire Emblem Shadow Dragon is a remake of the 1990 original game from Famicom (Nintendo Entertainment System). Thus, it is the first Fire Emblem title in the series.
