1) Tales of Xillia marks the thirteenth main title in the Tales series and the eleventh game developed by Namco Tales Studio.

2) The character designs of Tales of Xillia are created by two of Tales series' main artists: Kousuke Fujishima and Mutsumi Inomata.

3) Did you know that Kousuke Fujishima is the very first character designer in Tales series? He is the artist behind the character designs of Tales of Phantasia, Tales of Symphonia, Tales of the Abyss and Tales of Vesperia.

4) A year after its North American and European release, a sequel of the game titled Tales of Xillia 2 was released for Playstation 3.

5) There is only a year gap between the events in Tales of Xillia and Tales of Xillia 2.

8) If based on appearance alone, Rowen J. Ilbert is the oldest looking character in Tales series so far. He was 62 years old when his adventure together with Jude Mathis' party began.

9) It is a common knowledge that most main male protagonist in Tales series are exceptional swordsmen such as Cress Albane, Stahn Aileron, Reid Hershell, Lloyd Erving and Veigue Lungberg, etc. Surpringly, Tales of Xillia offers a different twist by making its main protagonist a martial arts fighter armed with knuckles and gauntlets.

10) Right after Senel Coolidge from Tales of Legendia, Jude Mathis is the second main protagonist in Tales series who uses hand-to-hand combat in battles.

11) One of Leia Rolando's powerful staves is the "Gimme-Dat!" staff. The name is obviously a pun for the common expression "give me that!".

12) In Tales of Xillia 2, Milla Maxwell also returned as one of the playable characters. But unlike the first game, her ability to control the power of Maxwell and the Four Great Spirits are already lost.
