Tales of Eternia Fun Facts

1) Tales of Eternia is the third title in the Tales series and the second game with English version.

2) Did you know that Tales of Eternia was given the title Tales of Destiny II in North American region? This is to prevent any legal issues with Mattel, the owner of Masters of the Universe toys that has a copyright on the name "Eternia." Nevertheless, the much later release of the game for Playstation Portable (PSP) retained the original title.

3) Do not be confused between Tales of Destiny II (Tales of Eternia) and Tales of Destiny 2. The latter is the genuine sequel of Tales of Destiny from Playstation.

4) The Craymel Gnome is probably named after the legendary humanoid creature of small stature that lives underground. It was first coined by the 16th century Swiss alchemist Paracelsus and was later adopted in folklore and literature.

5) The fact that they are known to be living underground and used as good luck charms on gardens may have been the reasons why Gnome is represented as the Craymel of Earth in Tales of Eternia.

6) In Tales of Destiny 2 (not Tales of Eternia), the Craymel Rem made a cameo in a Mystic Artes called Sol Bright.

7) Cress Albain, the warrior that Reid Heirshel encounters in the coliseum battle is the main protagonist of Tales of Phantasia. On hard and higher difficulties, Arche Klein also appears as his partner on fights.

8) It is interesting to note that Cress last name in Tales of Eternia is spelled as "Albain" when it is actually Romanized as "Albane" in the cannon.

9) Did you know that Arche Klein can be summoned by either Keele Zeibel or Meredy in the game? When using the hidden Craymel Arte called "Arche," either of the two becomes Arche for a short time while casting a powerful spell.

10) The animation seen when unleashing the Arche Cramel Arte is a reference to the Groovy Arche game in Tales of Phantasia.

11) In order to unlock the Arche Craymel Arte one must defeat Cress and Arche in the coliseum battle in Inferia on Hard Mode or higher difficulty. Aside from this, the Shooting Star spell must be cast when Maxwell's vitality is at its max.

12) When unleashing the Arche Craymel Arte there are three possible spells that are unleashed, but all of them are not named in the game. These three are called "Fire Laser," "Freeze Lancer" and "Spark Web" in other Tales titles.

13) The name Farah is an Arabic word which means "joy." It is a common feminine name in the Middle-Eastern countries.
