7) Jolly Roger is also a name of a ship owned by Captain Hook in Walt Disney's Peter Pan.

8) Unagi the Eel is one of the enemies encountered in the Jolly Roger Bay. The word Unagi is actually named after a Japanese freshwater eel. Thus, "Unagi the Eel" could also mean "Eel the Eel" no matter how funny it seems to be.

9) In the French version of the game, Unagi the Eel is called Anguy. It is a portmanteau for the French word Anguille, which means "eel" and the English word "guy."
